Beach Series

I have a friend who lives in Port Elgin, not far from the shores of Lake Huron. On a summer’s day the beach is always crowded, but these paintings are inspired by a trip that I took just after the summer visitors had left. We spent a lovely time walking the empty beach looking for driftwood and other treasures.
