Lakeshore Series

I love to kayak in the summer. This series is inspired by a trip north of Toronto to stay at a cottage with a private lake where I kayaked all along the shoreline. These paintings are painted with acrylic and crayon where I was experimenting with different mark making. I often use a silicon scraper tool and that makes lovely ripple effects in the water.
