Lakeshore Series

I love to kayak in the summer. These paintings are inspired by trips north of Toronto where there are many lakes for kayaking adventures. These paintings are painted with acrylic and some with added crayon where I was experimenting with different mark making. I often use a silicon scraper tool and that makes lovely ripple effects in the water.
